Understand and use visibility settings
Updated over a week ago

The "Visibility" property lets you control who can see the content and pages. You can set up the visibility of app modules and app content independently.

Visibility levels

There are five visibility levels:

Administrators

Only the administrators of the selected location.

Company Members

Appears on Account > Privacy and Security > Privacy for your app users and permits members of the same company to view relevant content - for example, room booking titles.

Location Members

Members see the object in their location of membership.

Network Members

Any member of any location within your network can view the information.

Public

Any user who downloaded your app.

How to set up visibility

To set up page visibility, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > open module.

  2. Locate the "Visibility" dropdown and select the desired value. Only some visibility levels are available for some pages.

  3. Press Save.

The following pages have visibility controls:

  • Rooms

  • Desks

  • Community

  • Feed

  • Events

  • Benefits

  • Shop

  • Support

  • Access

Content does not inherit page visibility property. In other words, if you set the Rooms page visibility to "Public," it will not make all rooms publicly visible. Every room has its visibility controls (default — public). Rooms, desks, events, and other app content visibility settings are available in content editing mode.

Sharing your app content through the "Share" button on Rooms, Feed, Events, Benefits, and Shop does not change the visibility property of the object.
