Public visibility is one of five visibility options your app has. The option allows external users to view your app's content, book, and pay quickly.
Enable public visibility
Decide what content you want to offer publicly.
Connect a payment gateway to receive payments.
Set the "Visibility" property to "Public" for the desired module. Then, make the necessary content of the module public (e.g., a room.)
Share the link to the public content on the marketing website, social media, etc.
Use cases
There are multiple use cases of public visibility for your business. For example:
External room booking
You can make public visibility for specific rooms to allow external customers to view and book rooms. To shorten the customer journey, put the direct link to the meeting room's calendar on your website so users can follow the link, check the availability, and book. External bookings converge onto the same calendar, so there are no booking conflicts.
External desk booking
You can enable day passes and on-demand desk bookings by enabling public visibility for the **Desks** page. Then, share the link to the Desks page on your marketing website or social media.
Event tickets for nonmembers
Sell tickets for events to any user, not just your members. Users can discover the content on the Events page, view what's coming and what's passed, apply for free with a link, or buy tickets.
Selling products and services to nonmembers
You can sell merch, food, or accessories, to nonmembers, by making Shop and its products publicly visible.
Issue reporting for nonmembers
Making the Support module public allows nonmembers to share feedback or ask questions. For example, it's an excellent chance for new customers to contact you asking about the memberships you offer, when they can join you, and how to find your space to visit.
Creating public Feed posts
Enabling public visibility for Feed allows you to show your posts to members and all external customers. You can control who can comment and post.
Notes
Viewing public content without logging in is possible on the web and even branded mobile apps.
Users must log in for security and KYC compliance before booking or buying anything.
Users (members and nonmembers) can share the content of your app that is visible to them by tapping the
Share
button. If you have any publicly available page, then the **Information** page becomes visible to all public users. However, you can control the visibility of guides separately.
